Emarsys has been a proud part of the SAP family for several years. Now I am beyond thrilled to announce we’re celebrating our key role within the SAP suite with a hot new look for our branding:

Why Rebrand: Celebrating the Next Step in Our Journey

Since the launch of Emarsys in 2000, our mission has centered around empowering marketers to build lasting connections between customers and the brands they love. We’ve come a long way since then, but this guiding principle has held true as we expanded our best-in-class offerings, partnered with exceptional brands, and earned industry recognition. Over the years, we grew from an “email marketing system” (the origin of the name E-mar-sys) to a world-class, enterprise-grade omnichannel marketing platform. 

Joining SAP in 2020 was a huge milestone for our company and platform. Becoming a part of the SAP family extended our reach and deepened our commitment to helping marketers build stronger, more meaningful connections with customers. 

Taking the next big leap and becoming SAP Emarsys is bringing a new wave of energy to our team.

This change also isn’t without precedent. SAP has a long history of identifying and acquiring key tech brands that show a maximum potential for growth. Over the past decade-plus, SAP acquired companies like Concur, LeanIX, and Signavio, just to name a few. Following acquisition, each of these brands has taken on the SAP name: SAP Concur, SAP LeanIX, and SAP Signavio. It is our honor and privilege for Emarsys to be selected by SAP as part of the future of Intelligent CX, and to be counted among such trusted technology leaders.

We’re still bringing you the same great omnichannel customer engagement, but now you’ll see our new identity throughout the platform.

As always, we’re delivering new enhancements all the time. We recently took a look back at the biggest product updates in 2024, including AI tools for efficiency, conversational messaging, new Mobile Wallet capabilities, and expansions to omnichannel personalization tools, just to name a few. You can expect more innovations to come in 2025 because SAP Emarsys is always improving!
