Prior to Adobe, Bedroud spent four years at Eloqua, where he was part of the senior leadership team that successfully scaled the business, ultimately leading to a successful IPO and acquisition by Oracle in 2012 for $957m. “Emarsys’ phenomenal growth, and its potential to win significantly more market share around the world, was a huge draw for me,” said Bedroud. “I was also deeply impressed with the vibrant, people-focused and results-driven Emarsys teams around the world, which creates a fantastic culture for innovation and success. Significant investment in research and development is creating tangible value for marketers, and puts the company on the right path to continue serving future needs. I’m excited to build on brand recognition the company has already gained, and take this powerful platform on the next stage of its mission to help deliver on the promise of marketing.” “As we continue to grow, our ambitions are higher than ever,” said Ohad Hecht, CEO at Emarsys. “Marketers are increasingly responsibly for revenue generation, however many are struggling to keep pace with budget shifts from offline to online.
